serious question

is he an upgrade over singletary?

devin has better yards per carry over the last 2 years and they are equal catching passes from the backfield

- homiedclown

Probably not. Our run game is our run game due to the line and play calling.

We did this yesterday, though. I don’t want to.

OK, here it is

"When the puck has been directed, batted or thrown into the net by an attacking player other than with a stick ... if it is deemed to be done deliberately, then the decision shall be NO GOAL. A goal cannot be scored when the puck has been deliberately batted with any part of the attacking player’s body into the net."

Also James Cook had one of the best YPT numbers in the NFL, we just never used him.

If Meatballs has the hand of Midas Greenway gets some points tonight. Jost and the Old guys will draw Robertson and Hintz and need to try and keep them reasonable. We need to beat a very good goalie 4 times. That's our mission every game. 4 goals or we lose.

I’m more pissed about the missed high sticks

The Islanders just hook and grab and interfere and play awful hockey. You need to make them pay when the refs make a call.

Granato eventually has to adapt as well

DALLAS -- — Rookie defenseman Owen Power scored his first goal of the season 56 seconds into overtime and 41-year-old Craig Anderson stopped 29 of 31 shots in his 700th career NHL appearance as the Buffalo Sabres beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 on Monday night.

The amount of times I heard the "professional announcers" say "what a big hit by #..." Only for the hit to be a high cross check

#12 on the top line could be some easy money

+320 to score.

Couldn't find odds on +1 points. Or over on the shots

I could see a deflection goal quite easily. We'll see how he plays. Tuch displayed a world class shot this season playing with Skinner and Tage. I'd rather see Greenway park himself in front of the net while the defense and Skinner & Tage work the puck for a shot.

fair enough. but I'd still put my money on: if the Sabres score 4 they win, if the Sabres score 3 they lose.

Sticking your knee out to make contact with a puck is not what the rule states. “A distinct kicking motion”. Which is why replay was conclusive and overturned an easy call. Even the professionals who announced the game said it was the right call. So let’s go with that. Buffalo has a great young core a bright future. There will be plenty of opportunities for them to make the playoffs in the future and make a deep run

You are referring to 1 rule in the Rule Book.
There is another rule in play from the rile book in which there is ambiguity.

Don Granato did not receive a formal explanation from the NHL after the call on the ice was overturned on Hudson Fasching's game-winning goal Tuesday.

Granato had two thoughts after watching the play again:

Funny response from Donnie

- DirtyDan

I really would like to hear an explanation. If for no other reason than curiosity. I think they blew that call and are hoping it just goes away. The overhead view of that goal is pretty damning imo.

Appearantly Meatballs was a bit critical of the team after the Isles game or this morning's skate. About to be on the pre game show. I'll be interested to hear.
