Sabres need to go 12-5-2 essentially to make the playoffs, with a little bit of help.

They aren’t cooked yet, but they sure don’t control their own fate anymore.

Unfortunately they didn’t come out with the win (or even a losers point) against the Oilers with the effort they had.

Road game in Long Island on the second half of a back to back is not easy, especially with a regulation loss putting the Isles in on the ropes, but its never going to be easy at this time of year.

Meaningful games in March is a positive thing though, and with Tage and Cozens here for another 7 years, it’s only the beginning.

Fun times ahead for this franchise. KAGM knows it time to put this thing in gear in the offseason.

I hope he does.

I’m not entirely convinced… yet.

How could anyone be convinced? By all accounts he’s doing nothing about goaltending and just hoping Levi is the answer.

Kevin Kline received a best supporting actor for the movie "A Fish Called Wanda." What a dud. Bad movie, bad acting. There may be nothing more overrated than English humor. Unless it's Dr Who, which is in fact more overrated than English humor.

There really isn’t that many holes on the team.

Top 4 d-man and a goalie are the obvious ones.

Other than that, it’s rounding out the depth which they sorely didn’t have this year.

I think they could use another top 9 scorer because I think Olofsson is gone, I don’t think Krebs has the offensive ceiling some do, and as much as I do think he will be good, I’m not 100% sold on Peterka. Plus Skinner is 30

Kulich is obviously very promising but I’d add someone this offseason

It would have been nice to see a healthy roster after the deadline for a few games.

Dahlin got worked and has to be banged up

Stillmen lasted what 1.5 or 2.5 games. And he was looking serviceable.

Samuelsson goes down.

Tuch goes down.

Just a little more health luck in this stretch would have been fun to see.

Who should they target to get them to Levi? Any good FA goalies coming up? Do they try to get the kid from Zona? See if Gibson is interested?
I doubt they expect Levi to jump right into the nhl next season, or even the one following. They have to have their eye on someone, one would think anyway.

What do you think their plans are for Savoie and Kulich next year? That's a big part of the off-season puzzle.

Not sure. That’s why I really wish they would’ve traded for Nino.

Has next year left on his deal, can play on any line and it puts no pressure on Kulich.

I don’t think Savoie is here next year

The season showed them they can afford to be patient with both.

I don’t think Savoie has anything left to accomplish in the WHL this year, but he may not be NHL ready.

Kulich may not look out of place in the NHL present day, but they may elect for one more year of AHL hockey.

Good problem to have

With our terrible goaltending. We can’t have samualsson go down.

Tuch also hurts badly. 30 goal scorer gone.

Our offense top 6 is missing him badly. Hino has been fine but olofsson in the top 6 has been brutal and demoted

I don’t think you can go into next year expecting all 3 of Savoie, Kulich and Peterka to be NHL contributors (if the plan is winning games)

Unless they can find a way to move Olofsson, I don’t see how that could work.

Seth Appert with Marty and Duffer. Uploaded yesterday, but probably done a couple weeks ago. I haven't listened yet, but I know several of you have high interest in Roch players. Should be good.

I will say Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels are solidly funny films.
