i just don't see it. so if the Sabres decided to have a kid dying of cancer recognized that's a bad thing?
- hehateme

Yeah, because military appreciation nights and kids dying of cancer are even remotely close to the same thing.

That’s like saying, my favorite foods are lobster and skittles.

Also to your cancer point do you ever notice how the NFL just did away with breast cancer awareness month in October and changed it because people were pissed off that the NFL was only recognizing breast cancer and it was hurting their image and bottom line.

No.

You realize that if it was “fixed” you’d have lawsuits left and right?

If it was fixed don’t you think each league would have “given” Buffalo a championship by now.

Yelling sports are fixed is no different than yelling the earth is flat.

- ImThatGuy

How can they have lawsuits?

Proffesional sports are called an entertainment buisness for a reason.

They have thought about how to eliminate any liability.

I respect your opinion. just don't agree with it. I see nothing wrong with recognizing military, cancer awareness really anything at a sporting event.

Furthermore, it might be one of the last things I would ever think about in my life. So much more important things going on in life...

They lost because they allowed the Islanders to do what they wanted in the Sabres zone... 50 shots for a team that likes to play cozy in their own zone is unacceptable...

They lost off a goal that shouldn't of counted.

No goal on the ice.

So they need indisputable evidence that it was indeed an incorrect call.

Looks up definition of indisputable.

The issue is it went off his shin pad and not his skate.

You can’t “kick” something with your leg I guess.

If it hits his skate instead of his shin pad it’s probably no goal.

I think the rule should be changed and those types of goals should be allowed regardless.

The Sabres have gotten 2 points out of their last 10 possible.

They really can’t blame anyone but themselves.

To me it's not so much fixed but gambling has no business having such a close relationship with pro leagues...

Yes I agree it should have been a goal.

It's a dumb rule but we can't just change the rules when it's convenient.

Wait yes we can ask Brett hull.

Exactly Homie... They gave very little effort for most of this game. They played good for maybe 5 minutes

If that's a soccer ball its a kick. But because its a puck people think about it differently.

I dont care what anyone says he kicked that goal in last night, I dont give a fook if it hit his shin pad and not his skate, he kicked at the puck with his leg, directly resulting in a goal that was directed into he net. The goal was a direct result of the kicking motion. if he does not kick out his leg the puck never hits the shim pad.

They played against the best trap team in the league. Not their style to play against.

And it was 2-2 without that BS call

I agree but Everyone knows the only way to beat a trap team is to dump and chase and win battles. They flat out refused to change their game plan, good team adjust we just are not there yet.

No I don't, its a kicking motion that directly lead to a goal. I said it as the goal was being scored. would of said the same if the Sabres scored that way.

Unfortunately you can kick all you want as long as it doesn't go off the skate. According to the rule

What's your point? They had it tied while playing like crap. If they played up to their potential they would have won going away. You actually proved my point

It makes zero sense at all, either make it all kicking motions no matter where on the leg it hits, or remove it completely.

This team was always very thin. This has been well known since September.

If the top line isn't scoring, this team is screwed on most nights.

They should definitely just trade forwards to trade them Or because we have to sell high.
