I want to be more excited for a close game like this but in the grand scheme it doesn't mean much. Or is there a chance for Sabres playoffs?

Looking kinda bleak from a Sabres playoff perspective.

As a season ticket holder, hopefully give us something to feel good about. Get excited about.

I bought an extra row for the Bruins game, anticipating a great resale game.

Sold 22 of 26 when we were winning.....
Now it's a ghost town.... 🙄

I said "virtually". One small battle doesn't change the fact its been pretty set for months.

He's going to kill that team. He doesn't give a (frank) about anyone but himself. He refused to work out with the young guys in GB and then had the gall to b¡tch when they weren't on the same page, and all NY is on offense is young guys.

Even Tom Brady with that great roster WR room in TB came to an end.

I'm a KA defender, so I've reasoned out the lack of moves.

Is it better to get in and smashed? Is that really a positive step for next season? From a Sabres perspective.

Of course it is. It might be likely they get decimated, but you never know. I'm not ruling out hope until they are mathematically eliminated.

I like that the organization had a long term plan and are sticking to the plan.

Trade deadline deals are more expensive then offseason

Couple players this year played themselves into and off the team IMO. We got some definite answers in 2022/ 2023.

Quinn- top 6
Peterka-top 9
Olofsson- Inconsistencies not injury related
Okposo- shot
Gurgs - not leading enough
Comrie - blows
Upl - worth another year loose
Joker- not good with power
Boosh - 6/7 guy

I'm not tanking yet, but at some point, it's like a comfortable pair of shoes. The annual lottery draft 😀
