Nylander better get some more looks. He looked totally in place on that 2nd line.

Hahaha.. Yeah and? Pens absolutely dominated them. Even with the Pens slop, and being down by a lot, in first half of first period they still out attempted and chanced the Jackets haha... Then they snapped out of the slop and never looked back.

Is it good?... Was debating turning it on in a few mins haha

It was okay. It was overhyped. First half was meh but he ended pretty strong. Last few bits I was cracking up.

Not far fetched that whatever is going around the locker room is fvcking with some of them a bit. I mean, Jarry was off last game sick....how many of you are totally 100% fine two days after being so sick you cant work? Myself, Ive had something lingering in my sinuses and head for almost two weeks and last week I was a bit dizzy and spacey. I was playing hockey and one of my friends actually yelled at me "what the fvck is wrong with you tonight?!" hahaha... when I made yet another dumb play, stuff I would never normally do.

I look at Granlund who looked slow as (frank) last game, however he didn't at all in the game before and the Preds game before that when he was on the Preds....and then he's off last night sick.

I thought it was going to be three brutal games in a row for Geno. He looked like lethargic trash in the 1st....but...didnt at all after that.

Yeah, I didnt go for it after. No matter what I put on I was going to fall asleep to. The stream I was using on OnHockey kept going with all the Pens post game stuff so I kept watching that. I f'n love when that happens, rare for me to get that kind of coverage and what not after a Pens game.

Hopefully Poehling is out for 4-5 games so we can see how Nylander meshes. If he continues to play well with Geno that gives Sully some options. Could drop Rust to the third line and go DOC-Carter-Rust and move Granlund to the 4th line and make a shut down line on the 4th with Granlund-Bones-Arch

Or you make Granlund 3C and go DOC-Granlund-Rust and move Carter to 4RW and go Archy-Bones-Carter.

Unfortunately, I dont think Poehling is even part of the Nylander equation at the moment. Both Rust and Granny were out last night. If they were good to go Nylander wouldn't of even been in lineup. If they're both good to go again the decision for Sully will most likely be Nylander or Heinen and in saying that I dont even know if Nylander can stay up if both those players can play, he was up on emergency basis. Someone who understands roster moves, compliancy, paper transactions and what not might be able to educate on the matter.

It would be so sh!tty for him not to get some more looks. He looked like that coveted missing call up spark we talk about here sometimes. I know its only one game and vs lesser competition but still...he looked fantastic.

Casey DeSunshine with DeWin! Too bad yinz all went to bed, what a finish.

Seriously, too much puck watching in the first. They deserved to be down 3-0. They also deserve some credit for the comeback. Hopefully Nylander has paid his dues, he deserves another look.

For all you filthy rich people, is Tesla the worst manufactured car in the world? Not just the US but everywhere. Watching a report their steering wheel falls off while you're driving. It just falls off. Unbelievable.

They were sloppy as (frank) in the 1st...lots of pucks skipping over the stick blades, just out of reach passes, whiffing on shots and what not....however, they still outshot, out attempted and out chanced the Jackets by a fair amount.

I'm not saying Jarry could have saved some of those goals last night, but I thought I saw him limping down the tunnel as he left. They're talking about him still looking injured on the radio right now.

Also... don't know if anybody mentioned it, but Poehling on LTIR. I doubt he comes back this season.

Jarry looked great in the games before being off sick the last one...I'd be more inclined to think he's still feeling some effects of whatever bug it is...same goes for a few of them. Such as Granny in the last game who looked noticeably slower and more sluggish than the previous games before, then off sick last night.

To your point, Jarry did look sluggish on the first goal. He was way too slow squaring up/ sliding over. The Pens are in 'don't ask how just how many' mode. As long as they get about 25 more points they'll get in.

Agree. He really popped out to me especially on Malkin's line and I'd like to see more. They got himss a reclamation project a year ago might as well see what he can do.

I believe you're right. They would have had to send him down. With Poehling going on LTIR though they will probably want a 13th forward and I don't see why not Nylander.

Now will Sully play him at all let alone in a top 9 role if everyone is healthy? I'd have to see it to believe it.
