If anyone on here is attending the season ticket holders meeting today, team ownership needs to know that none of this acceptable anymore. I’d make it known that the fan base will not willingly go along with changes at the margins anymore. It’s time for a big shakeup, lest they face a big exodus from the base.

According to Fletcher, he did not get any firm offers for JVR. If he did, it will eventually leak out but I haven't seen any legitimate source state that Fletcher turned down any deals for JVR.

Just saw a little snippet of the meeting on my wife’s Facebook feed. They were booing CF and Coatsie was getting mad and lecturing them to keep it slack etc. STHs spend a ton of money and shame on anyone telling them to not let their voices be heard. I suspect more and more will come out but this guy is clearly out of his depth as a GM

I don’t think we’ll ever truly know. Like when Clarke said none of the scouts wanted Patrick? Who ya gonna believe. In the end it really doesn’t matter. He failed to get any decent assets to get his “new” plan started…it’s just another, in a long line of, miss steps.

Season ticket owners were not happy….Steve Coates meanwhile was fulfilling his role as corporate lackey. I did like one of the Twitter Comments of the exchange saying: “They could fire Coatsey & he’d defend it as a savvy organizational move.”

Fletcher can't even handle GMing 101! You put it out there that JVR can be had for a second rounder. No one was probably going to give you that, but you would probably garner a 3rd or 4th rounder out of that. I heard on the NHL Network that he was offered a 4th rounder, but he wanted a 3rd. If that's the case he should be fired right now! I mean, a 4th rounder is better than a no rounder. They were never going to get much for JVR cause he isn't exactly what you would call a playoff type player, but to let him walk for nothing is despicable! Fire him now!

This is where I’m at. I hate to not solely direct my rage at Comcast but as long as people are still footing the bill Comcast will keep getting away with it. It’s the only way to end it.

As for Coatesy he can go (frank) himself. I hope Monday morning sports radio grabs that clip and lays in hard.
