I could see them beating the Rangers. I remember when the Rangers tried to load with Lindros, Fleury, Bure, and Holik, and failed to even make the playoffs. I have a feeling something similar awaits them this year.
And hey the Pens won a Cup while using Ron Hainsey as their #1 defenseman so...anything is possible, I guess.

Then in 08 the Rags loaded up with Jagr, Drury, Gomez, Shanahan, Straka and we smoked them in the second round.
Edit: Although we smoked everyone but Detroit that year, we only had 2 losses going into the Finals. Swept Ottawa, 5 games with NY and 5 games with the Flyers |
