Wait until Sully switches Rust and Rakell. That’s real coaching!

Jon Cooper benched Kuch, Stammer, and Point for the entire 3rd period today. That’s how a real coach takes care of poop performances from his star players.

Cooper is a pompous pr!ck... but I respect that

Not that it means sh!t, but isn't it still an automatic 2 when a goalie leaves the crease during a scrum? Or did they do away with that?

Yup.. too sleepy of a start...took too many penalties for DeSmith in net...turned it on too late vs a team that's much more desperate and rightfully so. 4 outta 6 points on road trip, 8 out of last 10 over all and headed home again.

This game is displaying our deadline failures to add a good backup and toughness.

So glad we didn’t address our goaltending situation… can’t ever count on jarry to make starts and Desmith sucks. Not like the same goaltending cost us the last 2 seasons too.

I'll take two out of three on the road any time.

Quite a few home games coming up. Twelve out of twenty to be exact.

Busy schedule also, eleven games in nineteen days. Twenty in thirty-eight days. I think we need to start DeSmith every third game or risk Jarry getting injured again.

The Sieve would not get another start for me Tokarski would be a better choice
This team has no faith in DeSieve

I was at bday party so missed most of the game haha. I was thinking it would be nice to get a Vejmelka so we could do a tandom situation to save Jarry from injury. In regards to the defense I would eventually try Kulikov with Rutta.

If Zuckers going to run goalies he’s gotta be on his feet, drop his gloves and turn around right away.

Well there are 4 teams within 3 points of us for the final playoff spot. The absolute worst thing that could happen for the Pens is just squeaking in and playing Boston in the first round.

To that same effect, we are only 6 point ahead of Detroit to get a lottery pick ball that could get us Bedard. I'd rather lose 18 of our next 20, get a good draft pick this year and ensure there is no chance Hextall stays than us finishing 8th in the east.

That’s never going to happen. For you to want that just shows your pusillanimous nature.

Kulikov can be Sulivan's Swiss army knife for the defense. Unless Dumoulin or Pettersson has a nagging injury that needs some rest. I sit POJ for the next game, CBJ, and slot Kulikov with Rutta. Just for one game.
