Buffalo brought in two guys that hit.

You go after everyone that says hitting matters

Then Buffalo brings in two players that hit

Keep trying to spin it softy.

spin spin spin!!

For those who don’t know hockey but think they do, hitting matters. When used correctly. Did not see what Adam’s was doing initially but it seems that he understands that too.

Beyond next season, the combination of Olofsson and Mittelstadt could be between a $9M to $10M total cap hit.

Is anybody comfortable paying 2/3 of the third line that much, and especially with term as well?

Would that be the best way to spend cap dollars?

casey is playing much better and I see a separation between the 2

if they keep him with cozens and that line produces I am good giving him 5 per

The Sabres were outhit 28-17 yesterday and Stillman got KO’d in a fight.

I’m confused how they won 🤪

- Swedish_Jesus

They hit back and hit first. They made it clear they would not get pushed around. Frustrates a scumbag team like the one they played yesterday when they can’t just throw you around as they have routinely done with Buffalo in the past.

That means you think he's a second line player?

No, they scored franking goals.

They beat Tampa Bay by scoring 5 goals yesterday and 6 in the previous meeting.

The game they lost in OT earlier in the year they choked away a third period lead, if anything, because of over assertiveness and putting quite possibly the worst PK I’ve ever seen on the ice too often in the third period-and the Lightning made them pay.

The “scummy” lightning are on a 4 game losing streak ? Why, you ask ? Because they have been giving up goals left right and Center.

Taco explained why the Lightning are conceding more goals this year, but none of you want to hear it.

The Lightning won Stanley Cups because they have 5 franking Hall of Famers on the ice in their primes.

Colorado was one of the softest teams in the league last year but that didn’t matter much did it ?

You can be good defensively without being physical. I don’t see Bergeron running around throwing hits very often but name me a better 200 foot player this league has ever seen ?

Life is only as hard as you make it out to be.

11 points in his last 11 games

he is 115th in scoring for forwards this season which puts his production as a higher end 2nd line player

Brad May seemed to have skills IIRC.

Brad May had the best first punch I've ever seen. Absolutely terrorized the league in the mid 90s.

Craig Anderson's picture was well done. Krebs' is hilarious because the kid couldn't draw his hair, so he basically gave him an afro.
- lacaprup

Quinn's picture was pretty funny too.

Looked like Comrie was missing a few teeth 😀

The worst thing about it is the long term ramifications that can and do happen as a result of fighting.

Worked some autograph signings with brad may back in the day. Super down to earth guy.

Went to the road Sabres/ Canucks game right after his trade. Met with mayday and bertuzzi before the game. Met mark messier as well prior to the game.

May had a goal at least and was thrown out of the game if I remember correctly.

Was never much of a Derek Plante fan, but really liked Brad May. I never looked at him the same after this though.

Yeah and the presence of Jeannot sure as hell didn’t stop Stillman from trying to decapitate Cole.

Heck Stillman even instigated the fight he got KO’d in.

I was in section 109 when the Sabres beat the Caps 7-4 and threw a grand total of 5 hits the whole game.

They scored more goals than hits thrown lol.

Meanwhile the 22 hits they threw against Boston sure didn’t help them score more than 1 goal or influence UPL to make a few extra saves.

The Sabres are in a playoff spot despite being “soft” and the reason they aren’t comfortably in a playoff spot is collective team defence and spotty goaltending, not because they don’t turn every hockey game into a bar brawl

Agreed, playing at a 53 point pace.

If he keeps this type of play going, even if he doesn't produce he has been playing very well

There are different ways to win games depending on the e opponent. Having two guys who hit will certainly never hurt

Players Balls grow a bit more, well everyone's except Olofsson, they play with a bit more fire.
