Think 1 player some people are sleeping on is Rousek. Kid took a bit with the injuries but is turning into a solid hockey player. He's a real pest below the dots and very good on the boards and his shot is pretty good.

In the NHL there are players who have a reputation of being tough and players who actually are tough. Based on yesterdays fight Stillman definitely falls in the reputation category. He is an awful fighter and got his ass handed to him....

Finally people here are waking up to olofsson.

I still think he is fine on the 3rd line but when he’s bumped up to 1st or 2nd line duties. That is no bueno for what he brings

I would bench Okposo for greenway. But they won’t

- Sabretooth9

Olofsson sucks, I would trade him in a heartbeat. But there still evaluating him.

Hope not, gotta keep your head up a bit to, wouldn't be so susceptible to a Upper Cut

This is based on Quinn continuing his quality play:

Skinner - Tage - Quinn
Mittelstadt - Cozens - Tuch
Greenway - Krebs - Olofsson
Girgensons - Jost - Okposo

Peterka, Hinostroza rotate in for Kyle when he needs a night off.

This could work too

The only hockey fighter I understand is Rob Ray. Get the (frank)ing jersey off. Hockey fights seem 85% who is better at holding a jersey 10% reach 5% fighting skill.

If you get the other guys jersey held you win, generally. Stillman is too small to win hockey fights. As soon as someone grabs his jersey, chances are they're bigger than Stillman, and it's time to clobber him.

Enter Greenway. Now, Stillman can choose his battles wiser.

All I care about is when Stillman is on the ice, we don’t have a mountain of chances/goals against.

Whether or not he’s a good fighter is the least of my worries.

If the other team doesn’t score when he’s on the ice, he’s doing his job

Greenway will help, don't even think he could handle Jeannot. Jeannot obviously remembered the last time they fought and how Stillman drops his head. He took one for the team. As long as he grows with the team is all that matters.

Major pat on tha back to him for even picking the fight. Jeannot is top level in that regard in today's NHL, and he knows exactly what he was brought in to do for Tampa. He also checked Cozens right into the Sabre bench to join his teammates.

The important point is that, as a team, my core forwards and defensemen feel a little bit bigger because two new guys are here who will stand next to or in front of them whwn needed. It's when your beother stands next to you that your own courage increases. The only other thing that does that is countless hours of preparation/execution.

The team is stronger literally and figuratively.

The vast majority of posters on here have been woke to Olofsson for a couple of seasons.
It's funny to me when the one or two dissenters boast about 1 individual counting Stat then completely ignore other stats that show him to be an overall negative contributor for most of his time here.

That said, I hope he scores significanyly...get to 30gs please!
Olo, Joker, '24 1st, Rosen should be able to pry a he'll of a RhD in the offseason.

Yeah, as much as I’d love to see Vic sit for a few games it will never happen due to his presence on PP1.

Greenway-Krebs-Olofsson with JJ taking a view upstairs for a game makes sense.

Could also see JJ taking Vinny’s spot on the Cozens line and him hitting the press box.

Guess we’ll find out

- Swedish_Jesus

You must be pissed. Buffalo brought in two guys that hit.

He's going to have to fight more here.

Does he have so few fights because he doesn't want to or because guys avoid him? I can't say I know the answer.

Mike Grier didn't have a lot fights only because guys knew what would happen to them if they fought him.

Greenway is one of the better defensive forwards in the league the last few seasons.

Is there a physical element that comes along with it ? Sure.

The biggest impact he can have on this lineup is bringing a strong defensive element to our middle 6 and improving our team defence.

If Donnie can unlock his offensive potential, even better.

I just cant see how they would bench a streaky goal scorer on a 13 game goalless streak that has 23 goal on the season.

Gotta play the odds. When he gets one to go in the rest will come. There will be a 10 game stretch in these 20 games that we will be happy he is on the team.

Has to be vinny and or peterka. Like them both but there the obvious choice
