Tocchet is a winner. Unlike Green or even Boudreau for that matter he can bring that element to the room. Boeser has had his ups and downs with injuries and such but he seems to maintain a consistent pace when he is healthy.

I like Tocchet, he'll get what he needs out of the players or they won't be playing.

My favorite move so far has been putting OEL on LTIR and seeing what the team looks like without him. No difference IMO.

Kravs is number two move so far.

- VANTEL

I would like to see him converted to center. I think he has the stature and potential

Over the past 25 games, only Myers and Boeser are in double digit minus.

Team still needs defensive wingers for Miller even though he has been better. Still need better defenders.

There is much sorting to do and at this point, I just pray that there are a few prospects that take some mega jumps over the summer because they aren't going to get much help out of picking once in the first two rounds.

BB has a winning record for every team he coached. RT, losing record.

Cherry picking….not that I think Tocchet is a great coach, I don’t know if he is or he isn’t, just saying that in both instances he took over as a head coach it was with a bottom team. First in Tampa and then in AZ, which has its own unique set of circumstances outside of just being a bad team, they’re poorly owned and poorly ran.

Google says the draft is June 28th and 29th.

The draft is expected to be held on June 28–29, 2023,

The order of the 2023 Entry Draft will be finalized upon the conclusion of the 2022–23 NHL season.

Is it cherry picking?

BB leaves this terrible team with a winning record iirc...

I'd say in a deep draft they that they are picking high up in, they should definitely be keeping it until they see what's available.

They traded Bo Horvat and a 2nd round pick for Hronek, Raty, Beauvillier and a 4th round pick. At the end of the day, providing the haters take their shades off, they got a top four 25 year old right shot dman, a winger who’s producing with EP40 (although I’m sure Lordy could pop a few in that spot) and a good young center prospect.

The trades, in and of themselves in their totality, are not that bad when you consider roster needs and money they would’ve had to spend to keep Horvat.

Somewhat…Boudreau is a good coach, he’s got what, 40 years under his belt. I don’t think it’s a fair comparison. Tocchet has never coached a good team, BB has.

I have, since the 1970-71 season, not anymore, when the template has been almost identical for that entire time.
