@LH good day for hockey parlay, throw in HOU/SA NBA as a 3-way tie at 3.00 - VanHockeyGuy
Thx. I'm currently betting Gulfstream Park and it's ugly already lol.
But I'm taking WPG-TBAY-CGY and yes VAN for the $20 pick 4 tonight. |

Typical move for bullies. When their targets fight back, the bullies go running to the authorities crying that nobody likes them. If that's what makes their day, so be it.
Anyway, I flagged him for talking politics in a hockey thread. - Danny Bomber

Maybe but Larkin is 3.5 years younger than Miller. Not the point anyway. I jist prefer Yzerman approach to ours. They will def have better younger players after this year if it's tied right now - Jkuzzi
Yes and I think JB screwed the team by some of his moves but this is the hand we're dealt. |

In Ek's final projected standings, he has us going 14-6-1 in the remaining 21 games....has he even watched this team? Were this close to picking in the top 5 and wouldn't it be par for the course for the team to start playing well when it doesn't matter |

100 percent. If we didn't lose our 1st (was there a 2nd as well in the oel deal)and get OEL I wonder how different the team would look. |

Exact same as it looks with him on the team. OEL is just one of many many problems this team has. |

The expectations seem unreal. Improving the D getting that top RSD. The desire was to do that by trading JTM and Bo for D help or picks. Then recoup Centers and D through picks. Top young RSD weren’t offered for JTM or Bo. We know the time frame and risk of picks. More failures than hits. It’s what you do when you don’t have high end young stars like Petey, QH and Demko. Not mention Kuzmenko and JTM. |

Hand is dealt time to move on. I'd like to see PA acquire a 2nd at the draft as unlikely as that may seem.

Well you didnt do very well with this one either.
Bo lost the room? Where's the facts on that? Nowhere... just a projection.
Beauvillier out performing Bo? Their season didnt start 3 weeks ago. Bo has 36 goals and 62 points in 61 games... better than a ppg. Beau has 15g 31p in 61. Bo is a top C and Beau is a middle 6 winger. Player value isn't evaluated by a 3 week sample sizes. One player was progressing year by year and the other degressing. Beau may just be going through a bump currently... we don't know.
Raty was a high regarded prospect. WAS... He has fallen off and is, and has been struggling. He is a project... his skating at 21y/o is not NHL. It's one thing to say that about an 18y/o prospect and suggest there's lots of time to work on it but he's a 21 y/o pro now and his skating is still a concern. And since you like to focus on recent weeks only in assessing trade value... he's not producing barely at all in the AHL. He has 1 point in 8 games and is a -5 since the trade. As a 21y/o "A" prospect in the AHL, that stinks.
What's up pressy? You get banned again?

Bo never had the room. He was a dogpoop leader and his teammates didn’t respect him. Only a clown would want to pay him that absurd contract |

I’m thinking about adopting a second team since this organization has been a tire fire for 12 seasons now and unless they get Bedard this year, it’ll be another 12 before they’re competitive again. Who would be a good choice? Edmonton?, NYR? - I-own_da-Northwest

RT is there to evaluate who goes and who stays to play the system they want, if they want to be part of it it will show and vice versa so I expect the players want to be part of it. |

Have to agree with this. Hopefully this team grows a set of stones in the offseason.

Step 1: Boeser on waivers. If management does this I’ll forgive them for all their mistakes. They done a lot of positives (like the handling of Bruce), but the Boeser contract was a real dagger to the fanbase and common sense |

Leafs should have beat TBAY last year got hosed on that call in GM 6 but had even chance to close them out in GM 7. Bruins are built for the reg. season. The 4-1 loss to CAR a few weeks back shows that playing the bigger heavier teams in the PO's they will struggle IMO. Presidents Trophy winners rarely win cups lol. - LordHumungous

100%. The captain is part of the leadership group. He lead a team to an abysmal regular season record season after season. Like the coaches at the time, he had to go to change the culture. Hindsight, never should have been captain.
Glad he’s gone. I only want leaders who contribute to winning. |

🙏 bang on! Toxic, rotten culture. So far i have liked the new coaching staff. Maybe they are addressing this. Maybe |

Elliotte says VAN/PIT had conversations on JTM, VAN needed a young centre coming back which would involve a 3rd team. They couldn't pull it off, they may revisit it again. (about 8 min mark)

I’m not a Kobe fan, but like Jordan, his desire to win trumped everything else. This quote from one of Kobe’s coaches says it all…
Lakers’ assistant coach Phil Handy asked the five-time NBA champion why he carried an overly aggressive attitude toward his teammates.
“He was misunderstood. I asked him one time, ‘why you such an bumhole?’ and he said:
‘You really want to know? Phil, man, some of my teammates don’t understand the work. I see dudes walk into practice 10 minutes before practice and they leave right after, why the f*** am I gonna pass them the basketball? I don’t respect their work ethic, I’m in here busting my ass every day trying to perfect my craft and these dudes don’t want to work on their game, I don’t trust them. So I’m not gonna pass them the basketball, I’m gonna ride them hard every day.’
Handy concluded “It made perfect sense when he really broke it down to why he is the way he is with certain dudes. I respect that, I respect that.”
I’m at a point now with this team that I want a captain pushing the team to win, push each player to be their absolute best. No nights off. Just win.
