Some chatter with less than 3 hours til the deadline:
- SJ wants a draft pick for Namestnikov
- WPG, DAL looking at bottom-6F. Sheary an option.
- Jets also eyeing bigger add
- LA's Bjornfot (+ 2 1sts) offered for Chychrun
- Quiet in CGY, for now
- SEA been in mix for Klingberg |

Filip Hronek says the plan is for him to come to Vancouver on Monday.
Won't say much about his 'upper-body' shoulder injury but says he expects to play again this year |

I'm confused as well. Why is Rutherford dictating what the GM can do? Is his title a difference without distinction then? - jfkst1
Yes. Been saying this since day 1 of the new regime. |

Lol Jesus. Good for the tank but again, don't get the timing of that trade...particularly if he's only going to play a handful of games this year.
Wonder if he'll get an extension before even putting on a Nucks sweater |

I'll surmise if VAN is in the Alex Turcotte conversation you can say goodbye to their remaining 1st round pick. - VanHockeyGuy
He hasn’t taken any steps forward IMO - seems to be a massive overreach as a 5OV - I really wanted the Nucks to draft him but he certainly isn’t worth a 1st |

By my count, this new management team has moved out 6 Canadians, 2 Americans and 1 Swede, since taking over.
Canadians must be the problem, or the Canadian kids are the only ones with any value. |

Rutherford was amazing from 2015 to 2017. Superb job at filling in supporting players. VAN has a strong core. From my perspective, supporting players are the problem and Benning might have screwed the team beyond repair. |

It's either a "reclamation" project or pay market price for a decent C.

If he wouldn't have went down that rabbit hole it wouldn't be near as bad.

Turcotte sucks - lets be real. He's a 2nd and Jett Woo kinda price.... |

We got enough reclamation projects and fawk paying market price for a 3C at this time of year - he’s worth a 3rd max and I wouldn’t even bother. He’s actually Turning out to be one of the biggest busts in recent history relative to his draft position - Juolevi 2.0 |

Geez, the Bruins have $2.8 million available to them today, but could end up having more with a further injury to Nick Foligno. how is that even possible? Wizardry. |

Well I think some wishes will be not coming by noon here, as Michael wrote in the blog, there has been a few changes but the JT, Garland, Boeser deals seem like they are not going to happen. |
