Leave 3.2 million on the table? I think not. - Grinder47

Considering it’s more like $1.5M in cash after the government steals their portion, and that he’s earned $75M in his career, should be chump change to him. |

The cap hit counts whether he plays or not. It's up to the coach to tell him he'll be wearing street clothes every night, but he's more than welcome to show up and travel as a spectator.

I can see him medically retiring though. When you’re that old you can pretty much make anything up to hang them up and still get paid. |

Wrong
The new CBA Memo of Understanding contains a new rule that allows a player to sign a multi-year 35+ deal that is not front loaded, and they can retire if they want. The cap hit disappears when they do.

Nah, that's changed. His cap hit would be off the books since it's not front loaded or full of bonuses or whatever

That’s because his main contract was so front loaded (Sid is making like $3M rn), so he used this one as a way to make one last buck before he’s done. He threatened retirement before even coming to the Pens. |

Would you take that cash to hang out with a NHL team, practice, workout and watch games from a press box for a year? You'll still play with injuries due to the NMC. |

Who takes a cat to the ER. Haha. - Grinder47
Me because my 6 year old boys heart was breaking.. And well, I've had the cat and his bro since they were 8 weeks old.. And as someone who had no problems with putting anywhere from 100 to 500 bucks up his nose a night in his twenties, and doesn't regret it at all, has no problem spending 400 on a loved one and for a loved one. |

Hope you stopped putting stuff up your nose, my room mate from college died last weekend and they think it was cocaine with fentanyl in it. That poop is no joke nowadays.

Chuck Fletcher wanted to make sure than Ron Hextall didn't have the worst trade deadline I the league.
Well done Chuck, well done. |

Why’d he let Yzerman troll him like that? |

Hextall playing chess while all the other GMs play checkers. Going with 5 defense pairs and 3 forward lines. |
|
|
|
Ok. Grandlund, Bonino, and Kulikov.
I hope Hextall is gone after this season and a GM goes balls deep for the next 3 seasons. It’s so disheartening to see the top 6 with multiple 20 goal scorers and then the bottom 6 just dying. Hextall clearly had the ability to obtain cap space, but did nothing of note with it |

Dawg I sunk multiple thousands of dollars into one of my two cats his first year and a half of life because he had major GI issues. Turns out he was just allergic to food and a special diet solved it after a ton of trial and error. These little guys are family. Of course you gotta take care of them. No shame in it at all. |

Been a long time bro, though I know quite a few at it around the city these days. Sorry to hear that. I don't understand putting that poop in coke though... It's a downer.. Coke is uppity and energetic. |

Ah.... Ok.... Taylor Haase at DK's site said otherwise. Well... Let's hope he retires. He got both his linemates fired this year so he should think about it.

This hasn’t been Hasse’s first cap related muck up. I don’t subscribe to DK anymore cus he’s an ass and I’m not gonna pay for both that and the athletic so I don’t know how she is as a writer, but her tweets are generally informative unless it’s cap related. If she says anything about the cap get a second source to verify. |
