Yeah I blame Hextall for not getting the cap in order before the 11th hour of TDL week but I don’t blame him at all for making moves at inconvenient times for the players. Also if McGinn didn’t suck he wouldn’t have been sent down. Weird quirk of NHL culture where certain moves are seen as disrespectful to a bet even if the vet in question has been complete ass.

But staal got traded to play with his brother and was rumored to be the place he was going to when he became a free agent.

Saw somewhere that the dads trip was based on playing in Nashville & fla, and the deadline apparently wasn’t taken into account.

The funny thing is they all know who's not pulling their weight. Nobody is more aware of who's hurting a team more than fellow team mates. The coach participates in that culture too.
