McGinn would make sense for the Penguins or Heinen for the cap space to work.

Well when you set the bar that low I guess anything looks better. Not $5 mil per better. He's still the lowest scoring player at 5v5 on the team outside of Carter and Archibald, and he won't be cracking the top PP unit, so there goes that stat padding.
