I play in a rink that has a shrunken neutral zone 5-5 and I wish it were 4-4. We play at the old j town chiefs arena sometimes and it’s amazing the difference.

Intense it is. Played in leagues at the Devils practice rink...exactly why I had to retire from street hockey early 30's. Couldn't chase the damn 19 year olds 200 feet back and forth anymore lol.

This felt like a playoff game. I was yelling at the TV and everything.

Hahaha yeah I'm playing with a lot of guys younger than me. The places we play four on four soemtimes have way softer floors than the rinks. The rinks are concrete. Running hard, playing hockey on that concrete, will fvck you up over time.

Fun game to watch in person. Back and forth the whole game. Just wish their PP wasn’t anemic. They’ve lost so many games this year because of a trash PP. Always good for to rub it in my Lightning fans faces. Our group chat is rather quiet right now.

Hahaha nope... I've heard of it but have never seen anyone do it. I don't find the concrete too slippery in a good pair of Asics. I always get their Gel-Kayanos, they're a stabilizing runner. Switching to that shoe for running as well actually made my legs, knees and back much better. Never nearly as sore next day and sh!t.
