Dinking and dunking his way to not being fired!

Fortunately from Yohe’s tweets it sounds like ownership is sick of his poop. Probably the last move he makes as our GM.

Maybe Hex knows this and he's like fvck ya'll I'm gonna saddle bag with ya with another 30+ year old with heavy contract.

Why let him make this move then though...just kick him to the curb

Good passer. Terrible at the rest of the hockey stuff.
- Feds91Stammer

Hextall saw the McGinn-Carter-Kapanen line and decided the reason it was bad is because no one was good at passing. Had to fix that. Now we’ll be good!

Almost feels like an FU deal on his way out the door. There was a Pirate GM several years ago that did that right before he was fired. Brought in a bad pitcher on a bad contract.
- madmike71

Hahaha I basically just said this too... It's really fn stupid.

Why didn’t Fenway fire his ass when he refused to communicate his plan? Idk Fenway has a good track record but they seem to not be doing well on the Penguins front.

Don't even get me started on that...I would've laughed him out of the room and told him to pack his bags when he said he couldn't put his plan into words.

Rumors had it that Hex wasn't really too interested in JT Miller...yet he was interested in Granlund. What a moron

Hmm, if this was brought in when Carter was actually scoring then it could have been good. Hex is a day late and a dollar short here.

I actually mentioned Granlund as a guy we might target but if we are giving up a 2nd, McGinn has to be going with it... right? Or salary retention? Something...

Granlund-Zucker reunion on the 3rd line.

Geno will get Garland or Boeser.

I assume you went into the settings and turned the salary cap off?

I find Ryan Wilson a real good read. Unfortunately for Pens fans he's bang on with his thoughts. As I read this I received an alert saying the Pens have picked up Granlund. Move the needle?? Yeah I didn't think so. Hextall spends too much time watching

Well... He did have 64 points in 80 games last season... That's not too shabby...

You would think a contract is going back but it’s Hextall we’re talking about.

It's so true. He didn't have the best track record for the flyers and yet they still kept him this off-season. So what do you think next week we should start interviewing some candidates for the position? Or can we just start Friday evening?

I assume you don’t know we still have options to trade on the roster.

It's honestly like Hextall saw that void in the roster without Kapanen and decided to get someone just as useless, older, more expensive, and with more term.
