poop game in general but is Matthews playing hurt? Cuz he's sucked for a little while now. No jump at all. Just doesn't seem like himself lately.

I did like the Kerfoot, RoR, Lafferty 3rd line for the few shifts tho

(frank) I hope Holl is gone. If for no other reason than to prevent Queef from playing him with the other terribly defensive dman Morgan.

Everybody knows, wanna beat the Oilers, put a man on McD. It used to be Kadri that shut him down. Tonight……nobody….let him skate! Keefe should have had these guys ready! Zero pushback.

Ya but he only got called for one pick when he throws them all game, he slashed JT stick out of hand, he tripped Gio, he hooked Rielly and that was not even trying to focus on his missed calls.

He clearly gets calls and he literally caused a media frenzy about non calls in McDavid from all his crying in interviews that entire season.

Folks can disagree and that’s fine but he gets every benefit when he’s involved a play. If he loses tue puck or falls the refs are itching to make a call

I'd honestly rather see Kerfoot go. I liked the ROR, Lafferty aspect of that third line but think it can be far better without a 3.5 million dollar tub of melting ice cream losing every battle and turning the puck over relentlessly.

Matthews doesn't seem engaged, particularly tonight. A little going through the motions. Somethings got to wake him up and get win or die Matthews unlocked.

Ya man. Absolutely. I agree he was invisible tonight for sure. Not sure what that means in terms of the calls McJesus gets but yes, he was not good at all. Non of the Leafs big boys played tonight in my opinion.

Matthews has looked bad all season. I thought he looked better the first couple games back after injury, but he hasn't looked awesome.

Maybe he needs surgery or something. Very strange.

Im not loving Keefes decision making of late, but I can sympathize with the idea that it's tough to have guys ready when you just met them probably today. He's got more guys coming, he's got a lineup to figure out... It was never going to completely fall into place, it's going to take some time.

But also if we're still functioning from the same capacity of wanting Rielly/Holl to be your top pairing, he's gonna (frank) it up anyways. 🤷
