This is a huge win. Comeback, and a 2-point game against a critical team.

How has the new 18 looked? Missed most of the game.

Seemed to be as advertised from the little I saw. Made nice plays at both ends of the ice.

Very nice win. Gave themselves a chance and took over in the 3rd.

Does not have to be a big-name player to help the team.

I’ve never seen a team with so many “scorers” not score. This season is a disaster. As long as Levy, Lewis and ENIC are involved, money will be the number one concern, not winning. If they make top 4 it’s a successful season because it guarantees Champions League. It’s that mentality I can’t take anymore. Mangers like Mourinho and Conte win everywhere else except here. It’s not a coincidence.

It’s true and I totally agree with you. They have to spend for some more talent. No other way to truly compete with the monsters of football.

When JGP and Barzy eventually get back it will be like adding at our own deadline. I like the way their playing. Need to keep winning.

It really should be like adding at the deadline. Team is playing smart. I like how this year the Islanders are getting a look at some young player. Butchie was praising Otto today.

I liked what I saw of him today. We seem to have a lot of good middle depth players in our youth. Should help push out some of the higher cost 3rd and 4th liners next couple years.

If the isles are fortunate enough to get into the playoffs, who would they likely play in either of the wildcard spots?

Engvall isn't flashy I still think he will be a 3rd or possibly a replacement for clutterbuck on the 4th

All the teams with games in hand have a more condensed schedule at the time off year games become closer to 100% effort to get in. The isles could be a bit more spaced out and it could be an advantage for them

Meh, I think he'll be okay on the pp1 with Horvat. Things were looking up before he got hurt. We still have struggled with entries, which is his strong point.
We'll see

He just kills the movement on the powerplay is my point. He stops and stickhandles too much and I think they are moving it much quicker right now. Maybe he can skate it in and change
