Spot on, not to mention it's always cool to have a hometown impact player. My only reservation with bringing in Miller is that it will make us so top heavy we won't have cap room for any depth players.
Sure we are losing Zucker and Dumo but this $8M eats most of that space and we ate going to need to spend a lot more on goaltending next season. - MacPatty
It doesn’t have to make them top heavy if they shopped for the right players in FA. |

I'm getting talked into the Miller thing. Awesome center depth. It would be nice to know if Nylander or Puustinen could provide some cheap offense. |

LA reportedly closing in with Columbus to land Gavrikov and Korpisalo. If that takes LA out of the Chychrun sweepstakes (they have the picks and prospects to land both), but lets say it does... who is realistically still in the Chychrun sweepstakes? Edmonton would be out. LA out. Washington out. Boston out. Either Arizona needs to lower their price or Hextall is playing a good game of chicken.
EDIT: not sure how much cap space Toronto has, but they just got a 1st from Washington so they have the assets. |

I've seen some glimpses of younger Dumo the past few games... Just some moves here and there and better foot speed.... |

I think he plays both, but has mostly been a center for the Canucks. I could be wrong.

The athletic is saying that Hex called Arizona about Chychrun and wants Chychrun and a winger (unknown which winger) in a deal. He is hesitant to give up 2 firsts for Chychrun.
Hex was approached by Vancouver about Miller and they believe it is unlikely that Hextall does both a deal with Arizona AND a deal with Vancouver. It seems like Hex from the tone of the article was too interested in Miller at first. |

So the winger would be from Zona as well combined with Chychurn? |

I mean, it still makes them top heavy Cap wise. I think you are understanding the difficulty of rebuilding a bottom 6 with next to no cap space. I'm not saying it can't be done, but this team would need multiple homerun deals to make it happen. |

Crouse I'd guess, which I would like.
But the way the Pens are looking against a half assed Nashville team tells me we should just be doing what Washington is doing and maximizing assets at the expense of this season. |

I'd be all for Crouse. Sullivan is who really wants Chychrun and Hex is essentially keeping the door open to the possibility of bringing him in (from reports). I believe the winger is more so Hex's target. Which hopefully would be Crouse. |
