Haha the guys on the fan are talking about Tom Wilson being available - 668710
Wouldnt that be something....Every playoff team would probably kick the tires on him and most, or all, of them would have more to offer than the Pens.
If they really are in a retool...I cant see them getting rid of him

I'm ok with that. What are your thoughts on Vejmelka? You think he's good to be a starter? |

In this scenario he is getting young roster controlled players. It is the only way I can see him do it.
He can't say he still believes in this core and then not use his most valuable futures to improve the team. |

Exactly, all of this. You have to buy for now and the next couple years because they already committed to it. Now after Crosby's contract is up in two more years you can re evaluate. |

Like I agree with not going for pure rentals as I saw first hand that is what spiraled Detroit into Oblivion for what like 7 seasons now. |

Would be a lot better if Holland didn't send Janmark, another prospect, and the 2nd that became Roope Hintz for 11 games of Erik Cole. |

I'd have no issue with this trade. Getting rid of McGinn's contract would be an added bonus. I am not 100% sold on Chychrun. He is injury prone and I think a lot of people overvalue him, but no doubt he is a quality player.

You would think millions of dollars would allow you to do better than central PA - Feds91Stammer
Maybe they have Hershey Park season tickets?
Honestly, there isn’t much reason to live here even for someone who makes 5 to 6 digits, let alone millions. |

Agreed. Chychrun would provide more for this team than any of the assets given up, as long as he can stay healthy. |
