I’d like to see them improve in net. I like VV, more than Blackwood by a country mile. But to think they couldn’t do better would be foolish.

I don’t expect them to be able to do it now though. This may come at the draft. Curious as to who is UFA. With their young D having a G that can bail them out while they learn and improve would be nice

As others mentioned i can see Fitz getting another bottom 6 FW. Outside of that i’d be surprised if he got anything else done this deadline. Some of those bottom 6 guys are waaaaaaay too expensive. But god it would be nice to see Wood moved for a pick.

That's exactly what you do with depth defensemen. You put them on waivers and let other teams take them because it doesn't matter.

I gotta agree, I don’t see how moving Severson helps them compete now. I can see in the offseason so the kid they call up gets plenty of time to play before next years playoffs (assuming of course they make the playoffs), but moving him now makes their defense worse heading into the postseason. I don’t think NJ has to make a move for cap space so why?

Nope. As was said before, Hamilton, Marino and Nemec are our right D. Seigenthaler, Luke and Graves on the left. Bahl and Smith extras.
