After Myers bonus is paid on July 1st I could see him and a 5th rd going to Arizona for a 7th round. They seem to like those 6m/year cap hits where they only pay 1 million, to get to the cap floor.

Everybody can forget about Miller that’s a fantasy pipe dream. I’m not on that train nor are they rebuilding.

I read somewhere this morning that the Kane deal is done, but the earliest the trade can work capwise is Wednesday.

There’s also a rumour that it’s us that’s helping Chicago/NYR with cap in the trade.

I would say a 1st along with a top prospect minimum.

NY doesn’t have the picks, so I’m thinking maybe Chicago is giving us a 4th back for helping them. There was also speculation of that’s why we got kravstov for cheap.

Apparently Alvin and co. checked on Kravstov last year and the ask was our 1st rd pick. Then NYR offered him for Hoglander sometime back in late Dec/early January.
