Why not Boeser/Ferland & no cap dump coming back?

This word underwhelming I struggle with. In the cap world it’s subjected to value for $. Cap flexibility is the biggest factor to improving a roster. In our case the prospect pool doesn’t support that yet.

Ekholm is much better. NYI pick better in the 20s or later to make this an even semi reasonable price. Canucks 2nd round pick better be in the 40s too. Better hope that NYI and Van start winning a lot of games for the rest of the season.

This is similar value to what Van paid for Gudbranson

He’s produced steadily on a lousy team. The price is a shocker but for a RHD it always was going to be pricey. Better than the 1st/3rd for Gavrikov.
