Contracts and things that most people don't figure in mock trades.

Penguins reporter saying Sullivan wants Hextall to add Chychrun.

Canucks called to talk to them about Miller.

Hextall said he isn't willing to part with 1st round picks.

Penguins had previous interest in Boeser who would not cost a 1st or much at all.

They traded Bo because they signed JTM, not the other way around.

- NewYorkNuck

That’s what was meant on the extension part of making room. They admitted as much by the signing was a choice between the two.

Anyway it’s a downward trend of one extension leading to another needing to be traded.

I know there are quite a few posters that do not care for Boeser, but presently producing at a 38pts in 52 games would seem like a bit more than "much at all"

Thinking the exact same thing. His contract sucks but it ain’t as brutal as some. I don’t get it.

After Lou signed Horvat and then made those comments too much, too long. It's funny the way that GM's think the deals they sign are good but then every other GM is thinking too much, too long. Then go out and do a similar deal anyways.

Boeser's contract is too long for too much. Same with Miller's contract.

I'd say it's not "much at all" for other teams because most teams have their own contracts similar to Boeser already and aren't generally looking to add a second version of that unless it's cheap to them.

He doesn't top the list of most brutal Canuck contracts... but I think he needs a change of scenery. The Canucks have a poop ton of top 9 wingers as well

They should keep him. Build around him. Coyotes have a really good prospect pool.

Hayton starting to come around.

33 picks in the next 3 drafts is rather insane.

He requested trade. He is gone at UFA for sure.

Following up on the earlier #LGRW Dylan Larkin reports: an 8-year extension will come in under $9M AAV - I reported a couple weeks ago Larkin’s side conceded to that fact. On the fun side, does he sneak a ‘71’ in there somewhere, like $8.71M or $8.871M for example.

Close to PPG 1st line centers for 8M plus. Has not been a plus player since his first season.

The @canucks have filed a trademark for the logo below. It's slightly different than the other "skate" logos they already own trademarks to. Here is the filing - ic.gc.ca/app/opic-cipo/… #Canucks

Looks like the Skate is coming back for good.

Not a lot of right shot wingers that can score on the team. But I get change is the new direction.

What’s the top 9 list you want to keep on the team?

I and a small majority have pointed this out more than once. Some people just love to hate Maki, once Boeser is traded it will be someone else. Even EP still gets hated on here, the guy is a Hart candidate if we were sniffing around the playoffs.
