Well the rumour for a week has been that we’re getting Patrick Kane’s caphit to make the trade to NYR work. It was part of a gentleman’s agreement for Kravstov.

So clearing almost a million in cap makes sense.

No, Schneider will be Chicago’s. He was the piece Chicago really wants for Kane.

Well if we gave up Lockwood a draft pick and are taking on a five mil cap hit then Allvin is even dumber than I gave him credit to be.

Kravstov is a stretch. I like the trade but so far he has done really nothing . New team new role, let's see. If that is part of the Kane deal, then that is where it should have ended.

Not many players have a many points per season as Miller since joining the Canucks. I didn't like the signing but he's a hell of a player.

I see him as a good piece, not an elite forward. I think last year was an outlier. All this said, i still think we need another game changer up front with or without Miller.

The big D fish out there could mean us being the 3rd team involved. 1 year cap dumps given there is term on Chychrun EK & Ekholm.

That’s on the assumption that Demko or OEL isn’t playing again this year. But if they aren’t, I can’t help but feel that possibly Boeser will be moved out and have something like 1.65 retained. My guess would be Pittsburgh, Minny or Carolina if Vancouver can get his cap hit down to 5 million for the next 2 years after this one.

It won’t be 5 million, it’ll be something like 1.5-2.5, which will expire in 6 weeks anyways.
