My first instinct is to say “let’s get him” but then I look at his stats and he’s basically the exact same player since entering the league with zero progression, Some moron gave him 3.5 million and I’m shocked to see he’s 26 already.

I personally would not move JVR. Second and third round picks are highly unlikely to make an impact on the club when their window to win is next season.

I’d keep him on for the playoff push. The experience gained for the youngins is priceless.

yes and no. i thought there was a good possibility that we were going to draft him. would have interest in him as a third line winger maybe, but right now it would be his speed that interest me. he would easily be our fastest skater. His first year with the pens was promising...not sure what happened to him since.
