What about John Gibson? He’s still only 29 and he likely does not want to stick around as the Ducks rebuild. Does UPL have to clear waivers to go down? You could roll with Gibson/Anderson if so. If not, then you kind of keep Anderson as the 3rd goalie spot starter like he has been of late. Comrie can go. He’s clearly the worst of the 3 right now.

UPL is currently the worst of the 3 by a long shot.

If the Sabres were acquiring Gibson Anaheim has to hold celery and it can’t be more than a 2nd rd pick.

If you are talking about recent form, then you’re right that UPL is 3rd, but I’ve seen more from him when he was playing well than Comrie. I don’t know if Anaheim is motivated to sell Gibson or not, but I would imagine with their timeline to being a contender again being well in the future, retaining wouldn’t be a deal breaker for them. A 2nd also seems reasonable when you consider the Sabres are borderline between making the playoffs or having a lottery pick.

I think acquiring gibson would mess with the blocking levi theory , path to the nhl....

Comrie is clearly the worst goalie.

Anderson/ upl

Any concern with Jensen turning 33 before next season starts?
- kingcong39

I wouldn’t go any more than three years on a potential extension.

Would just hope you acquire a player that would be here for a couple of playoff runs.

Depends on what he wants for a extension. I would take him on a 2yr 4m Avv

He already said no.

I don’t think there is much out there to trade for. Maybe korpasilo (I spell no names correctly).

Why did the Islanders acquire Boesser? Why are the Rangers about to acquire Patrick Kane? Why did the Bruins acquire two pieces? It’s the dumbest line of thinking I think I’ve ever heard through this whole thing. The team is good. There is no need to get better.

Edit - Horvat not Boesser for NYI.

Had Boesser on my mind after doing some reading in him.

Looking back, KA passed on Wallstedt, and in turn may felt the need to reach on Topias. How much better would the system look with Wallstedt and Luneau vs Rosen and Topias.

Disclaimer I’ve also learned I know nothing.

Worth it to confirm you're talking out your ass going forward.
