Although a pipe dream, getting Bedard 1OA and then Reinbacher or Dragicevic or Pellika with the NYI pick would change the face of this feeble franchise pretty quick, ala Colorado or NYR. After the first round just pick defensemen for the next 3 or 4 rounds.

Yeah that was one of his many mistakes so far but I would put JTM at 8 years and Brocks contracts ahead of that mistake.

Can't turn a blind eye on the Dermott trade or giving up a second to move D1ckenson and get Stillman.

I don’t mind the Dermott trade. He played about 20-30 games for a 3rd rd pick. Chances are very minimal that the 3rd rd pick would play 20 games in their entire career. The other 3 hurt though.

Too bad they re-signed Miller as he would probably have still fetched us a 1st and a decent prospect as a rental to a contender. Not to mention the cap space where we could eat 2 million of Boeser’s contract to possibly get an additional 1st.
