I have all the faith in the world they will choke like they always do in the playoffs.

To make it to the Stanley cup they will have to get through Tampa Boston and probably Carolina. I just don’t see it happening.

Their goaltending is once again suspect. If they win it’s due to either Murray or Samsonsov going on a run more then anything else. Depending on who they play I wouldn’t be shocked in the least if they are out in the first round again.

Ahh, got ya. On a separate note, we have not had enough suck for Lou to move players for assets, IMO. I read today that Armstrong GM of blues may be using assets from Taresanko and RO’R to go after Meier. If so, that’s brilliant. I’m hoping Lou doesn’t think the Isles have a chance at getting through the B’s, Canes, Rags, or even Leaf’s and makes the appropriate moves at or before the deadline to help this team next year and in the near future.

Lou thinks if we get in we have a chance to win the cup. He thinks we can get through all of the teams you mentioned. I for one do not think the rangers are that strong if a team. The rest yeah besides the Leafs. I think ROR will help but don’t think their goaltending will hold up but who knows. Sometimes goalies go on runs. With all of that said Lou thinks this team can win the cup and he’ll throw whatever he can at it to try and make that happen. Problem is we don’t really have anything left to throw.

The only what I see Lou making a move at this point is if the team goes off the rails between now and 3pm March 3rd. Then he becomes a seller.

I highly doubt that anything will fall in his lap to add.

Soldiers we have are the ones that are going to battle. There are no reinforcements coming out of the tunnel.

Miller inked a massive new seven-year, $56 million extension with the Canucks back in September. It feels like trading for Miller and his hefty deal would be a major risk for any team to take on, though he would immediately bring in top-six-caliber scoring to any playoff contender.
