The NHL Players’ Association and NHL announced today that goaltender Spencer Knight of the Florida Panthers will be unavailable to his Club for an indefinite period while he receives care from the player assistance program of the NHL and NHLPA.

Hope he's OK and gets whatever help he needs, but now the Panthers only have Bob to roll with so that's good news for the Isles

It’s clear the Capitals are hoping to reset on the fly. Jake Chychrun is a player of interest for Washington. Including the 1st acquired from Boston, the Caps have the pick currency to make it work. The Chychrun saga has been ongoing since Nov, 2021.

They have poop in the way of prospects though. I'd be real surprised if they traded Milano or Strome after extending them and I'm not even sure how much value they have (Strome obviously more than Milano). WSH would have to start at giving up both 1st's this year and probably still add something(s).

At least the arena capacity % will be up

I'd be fine with that too. At this point I think Koivula is probably a career AHL'er that should only be playing NHL minutes if the team is decimated with injuries.

I have to say since Barzal has been out MM has certainly stepped up. Many have but he has worked nicely with Lee and Bo when thrown up there.
