Translation: He could need surgery but we're going to try to rehab it. He's currently day to day, but soon that will be week to week which inevitably turns into month to month. He'll be ready, for sure, by the opening game of the season.

I just have a hard time buying the Clarke and cronies pulling the strings. Is Comcast that naive that they wouldn’t advise with their own people or group of people outside the Flyers organization? It’s hard to think they came in and just let Clarke bop them on the head and walk around like a mummy

I don't think Clarke has THAT pull but he definitely had a say in hiring the guy who is currently running this franchise into the ground. Who else would have said that feltcher is thr guy to lead us to greatness?! He doesn't even have a history of being a solid or competent GM (see Parise and suter)
I just have no idea who else would have said fleece me feltch was the best hire out there without seeing what ties he has had to this franchise before. Who else makes the call to recycle the nepotism and cronyism that continued to haunt this franchise. This is a serious question and I am open to all possibilities

To me it was a solid trade and nobody could have predicted the bubble fiasco that occurred. In fact, had that not happened, I see that entire rest of the season playing out entirely different but, again, that's the luck philly has..

Nowhere close to that, still cheap.

My expectations are very low, I am not that vested anymore. Yes, it's frustrating to lose a favorite team, but it does not drive me crazy on the daily basis anymore/

That's how I've gotten... I am way less invested in this team now than I have ever been. Years ago I'd never miss a game. Now I follow them and read about them while I poop but outside of that... meh
