I think they might want both. A decent cap hit that is owed little actual dollars and a young roster player at league minimum. We might actually be a really good trade partner with them and Adams seems to be playing hard ball.

he was doing great before losing both of his wingers. It was not a shot against Mitts, I honestly don't know much about the guy, only remember he was drafted top 10 but I don't follow the Sabres much. He is only 24, I see on capfriendly he has not played much the past few years, I assume due to injuries?

I'm not even a Mitts fan. Point I was making was even if these guys are highly touted at draft doesn't mean it'll translate that well. Injuries played a factor and he took a long time to not only physically develop for the NHL, he essentially wasn't putting any effort into it for a few years until the Sabres put the fear of god into him. He's talented but not consistent.

Panthers arena has some good offerings up on the club level. If anyone is there this Friday’s showdown, you have to have a carved turkey sammitch. The Man slices it right off the carcass and loads it on your choice of bread.. Best food I’ve ever had a sporting event. A little pricy, but when compared to prices for the normal arena fare of hot dogs, chicken fingers, etc, it’s a well worth it. LoL, every time I go to game, I must have one. Get to his stand early, as the line gets way long.

My friend has gone to a handful of Panther games because he grew up with Haley. He said it's pretty great.

What was funny was they watched a leaf game and the F&B manager was super happy so gave my friend and the boys on the golfing trip free beer after the game because the Toronto fans made his week.

I’m not a big baseball fan but that park is great. Love the club seats. Great food. Full bar. Great city views. It’s just a nice night out. And they have done a nice job building up the north shore. Lots of places to eat and stay.

Been saying for a month or so Johnson was gonna sign. Unfortunately could be a reason Adams hasn't improved his bottom pairing.

Very good chance Pittsburgh and Florida beef up their lineups by trade deadline. TSN has Pittsburgh on their front page. NYI added Horvat and are sitting in the 1st wild card. Washington is usually active too.

I guess we will see what kind of GM Adams is in the next two weeks.(No, no one is advocating on giving up the future for a rental.)

If you bring back the top 9, Savoie or Kulich could come to camp and bump JJ down. If Savoie looks decent, feels like they need to give him his 9 games before making a decision.

If you bring back all the F's, you're causing yourself issues. At minimum, they need to let a 4th liner walk.

Kulich wont make the NHL next year. He might be a call up but he has another year in the AHL. Not sure we will see Savoie either.
