I think an issue with a Sabres/Yotes Chiqorin trade is the Yotes need a contract back to stay above the floor.

Sabres I guess can send the Bishop but I would think the yotes want a useful body.

I think they might want both. A decent cap hit that is owed little actual dollars and a young roster player at league minimum. We might actually be a really good trade partner with them and Adams seems to be playing hard ball.

Playing devil's advocate, it's because the Leaf Mods never got their comeuppance for being truly evil. I mean Kush literally banned multiple Sabres posters for getting mad a Leaf fan was making jokes about the Topps shooting...

That stuck with me for one. The proximity of this chat to that cesspool made me stop visiting the site for over a year. I trust you to keep the peace in here now, so I returned, not that I'm some big contributor, but I can certainly understand the animosity is my point...I don't like them much either tbh.

That would be an amazing deal for us. I’m hope Ryan sees that we are on the rise, with a super young roster and a need for D men. Clear path to NHL (if he is good enough).

Adams slow playing this with strong development is amazing. Still would like Levi and Portillo to sign entry level deals, but not losing sleep over Portillo. Power should be telling him this is the place to be and if he does not listen, good luck man.
