If Olofsson can get me a couple pieces that could help my team for the now and the future, I am all for it. I am just trying to think of the future, are you keeping Olofsson, is he in your long-term plans. This could be the best Opportunity to get something good for Him at this TDL. Of course if he stays cold the next week could be 10 or 11 games that he hasn't scored so that could affect this trade to. I know Vibes and all but sooner or later decisions have to be made.

Maybe you're not sure if olofsson is in the long term plans? Maybe KA has 2 plans, one short term and one longer?

I just do not see why they would trade a guy that has 20+ many 5 x5 goals from the 3rd line?

And if what olofsson is doing here in buffalo is so offensive (his hot and cold offensive), why would another team give you a now and later trade?

Does some other gm see something your missing and will be willing to part with some major future pieces?

I'm more concerned with dahlin, power and tuch's next deals. I've said it before, play the 7rh round pick to ufa status. Asset lost, but everyone is arguing were over flowing with prospects... when they are tm'ing

That might do it. If the asking price is too high on guys they'd like, gotta be some temptation to jump in and sell, if they are out. Getting the value up on Mitts and VO was the dream scenario for the season, would love to take full advantage of that....and then we'll be sold continuity, progress, want to be here, etc while they do nothing.

I read it was only the veterans I assumed Okposo and I am not sure Grigs.

Adams listens to his veterans — according to a couple of sources, he listened this year when they asked him to keep three goalies on the NHL roster because they thought it best for the team. If I’m the Sabres, I’m trying to do something, even if it’s small. There’s good value out there, and anything you can bring to your room helps.

I still like Nick Schmaltz as the Sabres target.

One of the better even strength point producers in the league (although that Keller guy helps a lot).

Zona also can’t afford to pay him, and not many teams can take on the cap hit without sending anything back.

Sell Girgs, Lyubushkin if anyone is interested, ask Okposo and Anderson if they'd be open to getting dealt. Try to make a "hockey trade" with Mitts/ Olofsson

Unfortunately from reports it sounds like Adams will make a Bob Corkum type trade.

I only mentioned Coner Garland cause I love his playing style and what he brings Buffalo is missing. He hits, he goes in the corners, he gets dirty the opposite of VO and Mitts

Like i said they could have had Chychrun already if they would have included Savoie in the deal but that was a big NO. He's been quite the last few days (Adams). I heard over the weekend there was some interest in the Blues D men but nothing further on that front. They are not going to give Timo Meier 9 mill a year if that is what he's looking for.
