Our problem isn't scoring it's keeping pucks out of the net. Chychrun means a ton more sense than Timo:
1. We're already #3 in the league in scoring
2. Our entire prospect pipeline is basically Forwards and one to two goalies/No defense.
3. Chychrun is #2 in the league in defensive and offensive zone entries = elite
4. Chychrun is cost controlled for 2 more years
5. Chychrun allows for a top 4 of Dahlin, Dam, Power and Chychrun. Pushing Joker down to 5, Bush to 6 and gets Bryson out of the picture. - turbo044

I think the biggest over excitement this summer was the Comrie signing. If winnipeg even slightly valued him, they would started him a few more games and made him a rfa. Maybe allowing a trade of some sort?
Do you guys take a swing at Driedger the goalie being on waivers? I don't know enough about him and the sabres pipeline but I feel like it's a worthwhile gamble consider he only costs dollars to acquire. Only signed for one more year too.

I wasn't going to say anything but your first trade to Vegas is beyond insanity to me. Olofsson gets a first, from anyone? Let alone a player on top of it. Trade w SJ seems viable to me, same for Arizona trade except you will only have one first to deal with, IMO. Like the thinking though.

Why, he would fit nicely there with them. With Stone out he could help there PP and the last time him and Jack played together Olofsson had 42pts in 54gms. Not out of the ? To get a late 1st and a prospect for Olofsson and with Retention adds the extra for a better prospect.
Absolutely agree, I'm wondering if the leafs performance kinda bumps Anderson up and upl down.
Most important game despite 3er's next game up gig, is the caps game IMO. Obviously Florida too.

Kind of gets lost because he's playing so infrequently, but Anderson hasn't been all that good recently either. 1-3-1 since the start of the year. Would be surprised to see his workload pick up significantly.
