It's also why not drafting any in the top 2 rounds recently is mystifying.

Well from what 89 said they wanted Savoie when they talked. So I would have to think Rosen isn't as high on there list.

Go around to some of these Hockey Insiders and hear some of the prices being asked, if we do a deal might cost more than just a Ostlund or Rosen. Wouldn't be surprised if JJ is a ask.

I understand that, but if Rosen is being offered than Buffalo’s 1st is probably the only part that would keep them in the game, sure there are teams with a better prospect but there 1st isn't as good.

Folks remember this about Chychrun, they have a " Verbal Agreement" to trade him to a contender. Things are very quite on the trade front with Adams and CO. as of now I was told last night. I don't know if that's good or bad also, nothing more on the Blues D men as of now either. You have to wonder.

Could be, just have to sign Johnson, make 2 good trades/UFA's, draft D well for the next few years, and acquire Clague-types every summer for years.

Sure seems a hell of a lot easier to just draft well than do all of that.

Well you would think, but I was told we can just go and buy defenseman. After taking sh!t on here about are 2nd last year and being a bad use of a asset. Tell you right now Luneau would have fit nicely next year. Instead of using assets on 1 of 2 Dman, know we have to use assets on atleast 3 probably 4
