Second one is worse, especially in the short timeframe. He probably went allograft to shorten recovery time so maybe not as bad, but it's still rough.

He'd hardly be the first guy to retire young. Joe Thomas retired at 33 after being an All-Pro in the first 9 years of his career and making the pro bowl his last full season before retiring the next year after missing 9 games.

And he missed zero games in his career until his final season.

Edit: Not only missed zero games, he missed zero snaps.

The Lightning feel they have 10 NHL-ready blueliners across their NHL roster and with the AHL Syracuse Crunch. I have heard from other teams that Tampa Bay is open to moving Cal Foote, who has played only 25 games this year -- in part because of the emergence of Nick Perbix.

Realistically, the Lightning are looking at a bottom-six forward who can fit to their identity and culture (like Nick Paul, another pickup for them last season). I also think they'd like to add an element of speed, which is why Sam Lafferty out of Chicago and his cost certainty for next season makes sense. But again, when it comes to BriseBois, you should expect the unexpected.

Game wasnt sold out either and tickets crashed at 330.

Everyone I know was offering tickets cheap near game time.
I think the Sabres fans generally know its gonna be a bunch of obnoxious jerks. I was pleasantly suprised.

Yeah, I was definitely a cold walk last night.

Super disrespectful during the anthem.

Someone posted this earlier, wasnt the same drunk 20-40 year old male crowd. Lots of families.

Sad that the Sabres cant at least go 50/50 with the fans.

Some bozo posted that the leafs game pays for 1/2 the season tickets. I kinda pays for 3 games.

Sold my lowers to a buffalo fan for sure this year. Met him in person and he picked a half dozen other games.
