Now there is a type of trade that I have been taking about. It doesn’t have to be huge but picking up a defenseman that could help down the stretch for nothing other than picking up some salary is one of many moves available to the Sabres to improve their chances to get into the playoffs. Use your brains. Get off your hands. You in your being the Sabres.

Gavrikov is pretty much the Defensive Dman, his numbers are wild on PK and Defensive Zone deployment.

Wonder what it would take to get Gavrikov and Boqvist from Columbus.
