Based on the games I went to it's going to be higher for the leafs. Sabres fans aren't ready to spend for a team that hasn't proven anything. I also think since the season ticket sales were low the secondary market was limited and people weren't willing to pay face value for this iteration of the team after so much bad hockey prior. Close to between 60/40 and 70/30 leafs fans and I'll say 5-1 leafs, Sabres come out slow and get into a hole before finally getting their legs 3 minutes left in the 1st but by then it's too late.

Another Leafs home game tonight in our arena, makes me sick.
- SABRES 89

It is sad that the Sabres have not given their fans a good enough team to warrant them coming out to this game when they can pay for half their season ticket costs by selling these tickets. When it is worth more to see the Sabres play because the team is so good that it is not worth missing even one game then I well feel bad for the Sabres. Until then it’s their own fault.

Another reason to not go to Saves games is if they hide behind excuses about the future to rationalize not making a full fledged effort to get into THIS YEARS’s PLAYOFFS. They don’t invest in us then why should we invest in them. This year. No excuses. Make some trades.

The sad part is that mgmt can use this game as an excuse to say they're not ready for a move or two, when the opposite is true. They're dying for a move or two.
- Hank Balling

100% agree. I hear the rationalization spewing right now.

Here is my pledge. Unless the Buffalo Sabres invest in new players this year to make a run for this year's playoffs, I am shall not invest in them. No trades. No tickets. They don't need to make the playoffs but if they don't get off their asses then I won't get off mine.

And since I take the lead in getting tickets for my friends, if I don't go it is very unlikely they will go.

UPL has a consistent sub .900 sv % game in and game out yet it’s never his fault.

That first goal he was driving into the corner following the puck carrier.

That fourth goal just yikes.

UPL is bad. I think we can all agree on that. Having a sub .900 save % and is ranked 53rd in the nhl. Yes that means an away teams backup is most likely better than UPL

If the Sabres want to chase a playoff run. Korpisolo on the jackets would be a nice easy rental trade

If they want someone longer term…. Demko

Sabres have 6 games left before the deadline. Adams is waiting to see what happens

Give himself more of a excuse not to do anything, if they fall on there faces he can say we weren't ready to make those deals. If we can stay in the picture Adams will say we made calls to every team, but the prices to acquire were just to much.

I predicted 4 - 3 over the 7 game stretch that started San Jose. I took a win against Toronto and losses against both Florida teams.

We need to do the impossible and win in Florda now. Not good, bob. These guys haven't won in Florida sonce the late 90s and none of them were born yet. That's hard to do

Liv golfers now have access to two of the four majors: the Open Championship and the Masters. Certainly, they won't be allowed to play in the PGA championship, but the U.S. Open won't be far behind the other two majors.

How would the talk and organizational thought about acquiring a defenseman have changed if we didn't pull the boy on prom night and sign Mattias Samuelsson long term years before it can be justified? Has there been resistance to getting what has been an obvious need all season because someone wants to show everyone what a brilliant contract he signed with a guy 50 games into the league?

And, for the life of me, I cannot understand how anyone - at any point in their careers - thought Jack Eichel was a better hockey player than Mitchell Marner. Marner owned the puck, the ice, and the Sabres last night. By far and away the best player out there and the best Maple Leaf all season long.

The Blues are now in on Meier, with the pair of 1st round picks they acquired in the O'Reilly and Tarasenko deals.

I can’t help but think that’s a bunch of crap and that is put out there by SJ to drive up the price.

It makes a lot of sense from the Blues perspective, as Meier fits the age range of their key forwards they just extended the past season or two.

If they can make the deal while keeping their own 23 lottery 1st and Snuggerud, they'll have improved while becoming younger.

As a Sabres fan, I would ask: If the time is right for the Blues to make that move, why isn't it right for the Sabres?

The Blues would be looking at as a long term move, same as the Sabres.

The Blues would need to figure out the cap, same as the Sabres.

The Blues have two very promising forward prospects in Zach Bolduc and Snuggerud.

They're going to get a very good player with their own 2023 1st, just like the Sabres.

They have their two young forwards in Thomas and Kyrou locked up long term, like the Sabres do with Tage and Cozens.

The Blues would be looking to contend for a playoff position next season, like the Sabres.

Seems like a lot of similarities.

The difference is likely the two extra 1st round picks St. Louis just picked up in the past 2 weeks.

Very much so, go back and look at Armstrong work in 2017 and 2018 when they acquired Schenn and then ROR he made the same kind of moves to acquire extra 1sts to make those trades. With the way the D landscape looks at the TDL it might be cheaper asset wise to go and get Timo and wait till the offseason for Defense.
