Where was the defense? Where was the offense? If you're going to blame the goalie on all 4 goals you're going to instantly invalidate your credibility. The shots are 16-3, turnovers are rampant, defense has been seeing ghosts. UPL was bad but every single player on the team except Anderson has been absolutely garbage and Anderson only because he just got in and Toronto isn't going as hard anymore.

It's just a very imbalanced squad. It's all gas and no brakes.

They're also going against a TML team that made a shrewd trade to go all-in. The Leafs are very good.

I've seen no gas, they have like 6 shots. If they had offense and just couldn't play defense that's one thing. Right now they're bad on every facet of the game.

This team will live and die by the crappy goalie we have and by not putting the body on players. Still too many D break downs and giveaways. I can't wait to hear all the excuses after the game.

I do believe that. I dont see how he had goals 1, 2 or 3. Bunting probably. But its not easy on a guy when it was like 1 shot.

The sad part is that mgmt can use this game as an excuse to say they're not ready for a move or two, when the opposite is true. They're dying for a move or two.

I see progress from the team at the bottom of the standings, sure. But imo they're not nearly as close as their record indicates. They have glaring holes and it's not going to be a quick fix. It's not all doom and gloom, I'm not saying rip it down, but I'm not thinking a trade or two or a free agent is going to fix this team in any meaningful way. They need their current prospects to hit and to hit on all of their current picks. I would say 50% of the roster needs to be replaced minimum.
