I posted some friendly banter on the leaf board when Buffalo played Toronto and was suspended for a week.
We were told to not even go over there.
Is it you thats suspending people so quickly? - sabresfan69
Honestly I don't recall anything specific.
If it's friendly then you shouldn't get suspended. If it's not then you might. Best advice is make it known it's friendly as text can be misconstrued innocently enough and not everything is perceived the way we want it to be when written.
EDIT: Don't just make it constant "friendly" chirps either. Just talk about hockey and it comes across a lot more friendly when you do. |

Chad has a strong feeling that defense will be prioritized over offense at the TDL. And that Adams would rather not wait till the deadline. When things start heating up in that offense, he usually hears about it. |

Gotta keep Olofsson and Mitts away from each other - Stripes77
I don't mind separating Olo and Mitts, just wish the kid got more minutes. The points will come, but his impact is apparent from the numbers, think he's earned staying with Cozo, but c'est la vie. |

Come up with new material. This stuff would just get deleted by me because it's dumb. I respect a good, smart chirp.

Went there last summer. Great time. Did not eat much but what I did was good. |

Kulich wont make the NHL next year. He might be a call up but he has another year in the AHL. Not sure we will see Savoie either. - sabresfan69
Savoie is going to be pretty tough to guess on. We'll have to see him at D camp or how he looks on the Amerks/Sabres if he doesn't make it to the cup. Winnipeg is a great team so that seems unlikely.

The AHL would be perfect for Savoie next year but unfortunately its just not possible.
Absolutely hate that rule, understand it but hate it. We need exemptions to the rule in place with perhaps payments going to the CHL team. |

He's also believed for a while now that RJ is going to sign when his season ends. Pronman echoed that today. |

Your right, Kulich might get some time this Year after the TDL, depending where the Sabres are at. |

Yeah it's tough. You have to wonder how they're working with him to prepare him for next year. I assume they're analyzing his progress in his physical and mental development and training him in such a way to be prepared for where they envision him being next year. Perhaps they're driving him to put on a lot of mass. Or if they don't think he'll be ready, they're working more on technique and mastery of 200' game at his level.
Just a thought.

I wonder how the league values Chiquorin every milestone he's not moved. Considering he's been available since, what, last TDL? |

NHL roster rules are a pain. You'd like guys to be able to win spots, but it's not like you're going to waive Mitts if Savoie outplays him.
If they block Savoie and don't give him 9 games and they basically decide to slide Kulich again next year before camp even starts, I'd be disappointed. I want to see some competition.

He wont. I would bet money on it. Vinny would get called up.
Kulich needs to stay where he belongs and we don't need to screw with his development. |

Coyotes are overplaying their hand.
The only reported close to a trade for chicken man was the kings.
The kings said no to moving their 8th overall pick or what ever he was.
We said no to savoie per 89
The bruins who are also interested, don’t have any prospects to trade
So fun times |

Jesus christ. 6 games in hand on Florida for the final wild card spot. What the hell?! SIX?!
Anyway, that aside, with 4 points out what is the general idea of the fanbase for the deadline? Make some trades to go for it? Just shore up for next year and run with what you got. Sell off UFAs and pick up assets? |

So thanks for saying this. I have been saying it for a bit that Arizona may very well be overplaying their hand. I think if they don't move him this deadline that the value Chychrun brings with his contract becomes less because they used it up.
Rumour about Boston was like Debrusk or Swayman, 2023 first, 2024 2nd, Some top prospect I can't remember the name. It was a big ask from Arizona.

Add a top-4 dman. They don't really have any UFAs to sell.
Girgensons will be here until the end of time and Okposo is the captain so he's not leaving |

Yup, we only need to go .500 over the next 6 games and we will hold a playoff spot.
Its a tough 6 game schedule but only .500 is possible. |

Very good chance Pittsburgh and Florida beef up their lineups by trade deadline. TSN has Pittsburgh on their front page. NYI added Horvat and are sitting in the 1st wild card. Washington is usually active too.
I guess we will see what kind of GM Adams is in the next two weeks.(No, no one is advocating on giving up the future for a rental.) - sabresfan69
Florida is capped out though, the only beefing up will be if Duclair returns (which supposedly is a possibility for Friday’s game) from LTIR while Hornqvist (concussion issues) stays on LTIR. They don’t have the cap room for both. |
