I cringed when they were up 3-1 and the announcers started gushing about how bad the Pens were making the Isles look.

The Penguins having bad goaltending and a lot of passengers are not breaking news. I feel like one of the more less talked about flaws with this team is how often they give up a goal right after scoring, right before a period ends, or as soon as a new one starts.

Yeah cuz Sid or genos line scores and they put out the 3rd line whose sole purpose is to bleed chances against. Solid coaching.

.. which has a lot to do with goaltending. Most teams will give pushback.. Especially ones desperately fighting for their playoffs. Goalie gives up a sh!t goal that let's opposing teams believe in themselves and their chances. It can't be quantified, the impact bad goaltending has on a team, but it's something on the players minds that shouldn't be there and it effects them. It can be demoralizing. Players over think and do things a bit different when they don't have confidence in their goaltending. Players play at their best when they aren't thinking about what they or their teamates are doing a lot. When they are going with the flow. This is all very hard when you don't have goalie confidence.

It's also worth mentioning the Pens are one of the best come from behind to win teams this season.

82% save percentage is never a winning formula. Desmith isn’t an NHL starter.

Yup... The league average this season is 0.906... if they get that last night, they win. If they have Jarry last night, they win. Simple as that.

ROR to the Leafs... Been clamoring for him for months. Ah well. Keep sitting on your fn thumbs, Hex. I mean, there's no way I know for sure Hex didn't try to obtain ROR... Just can't help but feel he didn't Hahaha

I really tink. The defense goals to be soffess in da league. Soff. Geno can’t register even a shot in a big game again.

I can’t blame a goalie after his Richard is allowed to be used as a tee for the puck, while 3 teammates just stand there. After watching that Luke Schenn just might be coming to the burgh.
