I'm starting to wonder if Desnoyers is a viable NHL prospect? Maybe a viable 3rd line center?

Yes. They want him to add a little more muscle first but definitely a legit prospect.

Thanks, Bill. Glad to see him take such a significant step forward this season.

Farabee has struggled this year. I disagree he is the key to the Flyers future.
- jd250

Don't forget that bee came off of neck surgery and had no time to train to be in game shape.
Let's give the kid a proper amount of time to be himself again. He doesn't look anywhere near what he did last season before his neck injury.
I wouldn't rule him out as a future fixture of this team, especially coming back from a serious injury.
He is a big part of our future if we want ro be successful

Man I love it here. The ups and downs after every game. I'm glad it's just not leaf fans who have the same feelings game to game.

Totally agree! I love Farabee and thought they rushed him back too soon. He started slow but that was to be expected. He will be fine.

He made 3-4 really good plays in tight spaces today. One example is below. There were others.

Once the 25-48-74 line was put back together -- and this is per Torts -- they created some chances. Frost had one point blank that was set up by JVR.

He had a rough game on faceoffs. Otherwise was fine in a tight-checking game.

Bill, serious question. Why isn't Frost playing in OT? With his speed and skill, and all that open ice, it seems like a no-brainer to me! Put him out there with DeAngelo and Tippet and try to win the game for Pete sake! What do you hope to accomplish with York, Provey and Laughts? I love Torts so far this year, but I really don't understand the logic behind this.

But is this tickets sold or actual butts in the seats? Its nice to sell the tickets, but there is a lot of money made in game-day merchandize and concessions, thus if people aren't actually there they take a hit.

Mr. Miyagi needs to counsel this dysfunctional team’s management. Commit to do one path or get out. This team had no direction. “Changing the culture” (Torts) is just one aspect. What good is it if the team has no long-term plan?

The building has looked pretty full to me the past several games. You ice a team that competes every night and the hockey fans will show up. Apparently they sold out Thursday night. This ain't the Sillies or Sucksers fans that only show up when their team is a true contender.

I was there Thursday and yesterday and the place was pretty full. I'd say 90% full

Those fans that you criticize, actually get to root for a quality team.

They're frontrunning frauds. The Sillies played to like 54% capacity last year and then when they started winning in the playoffs they showed up and called themselves the best fans in baseball. Bunch of frauds! Jimmy Rollins was right all those years ago when he called Phillies fans frontrunners and the same goes for the Sixers.
