I can't prove this obviously, but after seeing how Edmonton got all those first overalls it appears that the NHL will handpick who gets Bedard. My guess off the top of my head is Chicago, as that would probably make the league the most money.

Bedard is considered such a can’t miss prospect, I can’t see any team trading the first overall pick. For anything short of picks and a top 6 player or two. And, I don’t even see that.

I think you’d be throwing Dobson or Barzal (or worse, Sorokin) in, plus all those picks you mentioned to get a team even remotely interested. I don’t think those prospects you mentioned move the needle much.
