Honestly, I dont think thats the solution. IMO, first step is giving the kids PP time, period. I wouldnt split them up.

However, getting Trochek off the PP is a legit need. GG needs to accept hes not the 40 goal scorer he was when he coached him in Florida. I would rather have KAndre play on the right side right now. Hes shown, far more than Trochek, hes got some offensive chops… plus, he was a forward before he became a defenseman.

yeah but the missing thing with comparing those two is that Staal is one of best faceoff men the last 10 years in the whole league, you can't leave that aspect of his game out when thinking about him
