Kakko could be playing his best line but he got Gallanted.

I really really really hope the puck starts going on for him, I'll do a naked rain dance to make it happen if I have to

I'm not going to post the analytics cause this blog will spiral in pissy pants territory, but the kid line is their best line right now.

And if you had Buchnevich here the top 6/9 would look extremely different/deeper. They don't. So it is what is.

You win some you lose some. Can only hindsight it so much before you eat a bullet. Drury better have a good deadline.

What's next year looking like budget wise? Dead cap is all gone, right?

He wouldn’t be blocking them tho…… bc none of them have stepped up into that role …..
- nyrangers9479

Drury couldn’t tell the future tho. If Buch is here, Chytil is probably gone next year. Take your pick who wouldn’t be here. Miller? Trocheck? That’s probably who isn’t. What can you do.

It’s a pill that some will never get over I guess

Miller and Chytil, gonna need 10-12 mil there. Hope the cap goes up more than a mil.

Barclay and Blais pretty much make up Buch's salary if we're really answering that question. That's not to make an argument for or against anything. Just the answer to that one question

I would love to have Gallant play that line more, but I wonder if he's just trying to get a 2nd line or 3rd, however you prefer, to gel before the playoffs. If it stays the same and the kid line is still playing great and Gallant gives them limited minutes in the playoffs, he will have finally lost me.
