Not this year, since 2017. Nobody has more goals and scoring chances than Kreider off of deflections. Even this year, he's the best at creating the chances. Just not going. Hence, regression (to the mean.) is more advanced stats stuff.

That’s why we can’t give him elite linemates and need him to assume a 3rd line role in a more checking/shutdown capacity while chipping in 40-50pts. I see no reason why he and kreider can’t do that in their sleep
