If he can fill the fourth line role, providing what was hoped at some point this year, then he can have a defined role. If thinking he is a top-six, then we will have major problems.

Yes 4th line. His top 6 days, even 9, barely existed

Keep seeing Luke Schenn as a target. Can he play LHD? I’d assume so. But he is RH

+7 for that team isn’t terrible tho. But, I’d set my sights a bit higher

I beat Megna to death because he’s signed next year too for a under a million bucks

I think this ends badly for the Fishsticks, but of course I am biased. Just can't see the later years of that contract being a good value. And if this is Horvats' career year, well then they are truly screwed!

The same can be said about mika, trochek, Trouba. But we’re one of the youngest teams in the league and they’re the oldest

Trochek wont be so bad in 2 years when the cap blows up. Prior to COVID and the cap freeze, it wasnt out of the norm for a 2C/3C to make around 5m per year.

Trouba's contract ends in 2 years, so we will get out from under that albatross soon.

His full NMC ends after next season and then he has 2 more after that with a M-NTC. Might be hard to trade that contract especially to the teams includes on his list

Oh right its his NMC clause that ends in 2 years. Well we would definitely have to retain $ on his contract, which would be cheaper and shorter in the long run.

However, in 2 years, who knows how it will affect us based on what happens with the salary cap.

I think a good comparison for Cuylle in a few years is Dubinsky. And if he turns into Dubinsky without the injuries Id sign for that.

Dubinsky? I dont see it. I feel like hes twice the size of Dubi. If hes similar to anyone its Kreider, he just needs to work on his straight line speed.

At least trocheck and Mika are living up to their contracts currently. Tro has bad underlying numbers, but on point for 60 points.

Trouba is a liability and brings down the talent level of the defense. He’s probably a top 3 worst contract in the league
